Biography

As the principal analyst, Omar supports data-informed innovation across KU’s academic landscape. For the past four years, Omar has bridged institutional data with real classroom impact, partnering directly with faculty, departments, and administrators to gather quantitative and qualitative insights from students (current and former) to build stronger, more dynamic curricula.

Omar supports a wide range of CTE initiatives, including AI curricular integration, external grant evaluation, the Ideas to Action program, and innovation partnerships on and off campus. His work centers on transforming complex student data into clear, forward-looking strategies that strengthen course and program development. He is especially excited to collaborate with the undergraduate students on the Student Partner Advisory Board as they partner with faculty on course-level innovation.

Outside of KU, Omar is passionate about working with nonprofits across the Midwest that are dedicated to uplifting underserved communities. Have some free time? Omar is always ready to take a breather from the daily grind to chat about travel, great food, sports, whatever show you’re currently binge-watching, or…..  pretty much anything!
